Hong Kong Learning and Teaching Expo 2015

In partnership with our Hong Kong-based distributor AMK International Corporation Ltd., Hussey Seating Asia-Pacific will be participating at Hong Kong Learning and Teaching Expo at Hall 5BC, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 10 December 2015 to 12 December 2015. Learning and Teaching Expo is the established education show in Hong Kong supported by the Education Bureau of the Government of the HKSAR, Hong Kong Education City and the education communities in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific Region.

The Expo enters its sixth year in 2015 and will continue to provide an annual platform for school leaders, teachers and educators in Asia to discover the latest developments in educational resources and learning technology.

The objectives Learning & Teaching Expo are to:

  • Provide an opportunity for innovative international educational suppliers to meet with Hong Kong, Chinese and Asia-Pacific teachers and education professionals;
  • Provide a buying opportunity for schools and educational establishments interested in sourcing the latest classroom resources and educational technology;
  • Stimulate interest from teachers and school leaders in the latest most innovative teaching techniques including the use of ICT for learning in schools;
  • Provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas, skills and best practices amongst teachers from across the Asia-Pacific region;
  • Stimulate awareness and discussion to support the importance of Inclusive Education for students with special education needs;
  • Recognise and celebrate the success of schools, colleges and universities in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

FOBISIA - Annual Heads’ and Senior Leaders’ Conference 2015

At Tanglin Trust School, Singapore
From 6 November 2015 to 9 November 2015

The theme this year is ‘Be Inspired!’ and they are excited to announce that the famous British explorer, TED lecturer and sustainability champion, Robert Swan will be opening the conference to set the tone. They will also have the guest speaker Roy Blatchford (Director of the National Education Trust) as well as many inspiring workshop leaders on a broad range of topics.

This year’s conference will fully utilise technology, with a microsite, iPad/mobile phone app and twitter feed, which will be displaying live feeds during the conference to encourage engagement and discussion.
